4th Annual Battle or Paddle

The Friends of the Lower Appomattox River will host its 4th Annual Battle or Paddle on September 17, 2011. This ten mile run from Petersburg to Hopewell, VA takes kayakers and canoest an outgoing tide on this portion of Scenic Appomattox River. Prizes and plaques awarded to racers. T-shirts, continental breakfast and lunch for all entrants.
