Update on master plan for Mayo River State Park

There will be two virtual meetings Thursday, Oct. 22, to discuss the master plan for the Mayo River State Park.

Each session will include a short presentation and time for the public to ask questions and provide comments. Remember, this is your park!

The state park north of Greensboro in Rockingham County has acquired 2,700 acres, but needs a master plan to add features such as camping areas, hiking trails and river accesses.
