Since we are changing it up a bit, I just wanted to clarify the plan for everyone as was posted in the latest Event.

Put In:
Take Out:
When you arrive at Stoneville Memorial Park. Go ahead and drop your kind food pantry donations in the pile with the others. Thank you.
After you have said hello to your friends, those of you who have friends, change into your river gear and start shifting boats and gear.
Around 10:15 Marty with Lot 2540 will tell us a bit about their operation and we will help load the food in the truck. Thank you.
We will have 3 waves of folks headed out from SMP. The first wave of cars with boats on top will head to the put-in, drop boats, and then set shuttle at the take-out. The second wave of cars will be headed to the take-out because they have put the boats on another car and don’t need to drive to the put-in. They will meet up with the first wave and catch a ride to the put-in. The third wave will leave SMP 15 minutes after the first wave. These folks will head to the put-in, drop boats and then head to the take-out and set shuttle.
We should be all back to the put-in and geared up by 11:30. We will gather under the bridge and introduce ourselves and have a safety talk. We will have lead and sweep boats. We will surf every tiny, small, medium, and large wave we see. Some of you will boof, splat, and throw ends as we progress downstream. There are several fun rapids on this section and we will show great Style while being safe and taking care of our neighbors.
We’ll have a brief snack, I’m making brownies, right below lunch stop rapid. After some chilling and relaxing we will head downstream and around the corner to where the N Fork and the S Fork converge. Bumping down a few rapids and then you see the bridge.
Next up are the World Famous Boiling Hole and S Turn rapids. We’ll set some ropes for safety and enjoy the grand finale of the MMRT 2022. After dragging boats to the road below the final rapid. We’ll change into our dries and folks will be shuttled to the top to get their cars. Folks at the take-out will start doing a roadside clean up which will be led by The Shane Brown.
