Location

Meet at the big top tent at Smoky Mountain Meadows immediately following the Sunday morning meeting, ready to go. Instructor will determine river.Participants must provide their own paddling gear appropriate for the weather. This includes Canoe with flotation, paddles, PFDs, helmet, paddling clothes, throw rope, bailer or pump, gloves, extra dry clothes in a dry bag, snacks, plenty of water, lunch, sunglasses with retainers, sunscreen, dry clothes for the ride back to camp, money for a snack stop at the end of the day.

Maximum of 8 pre-registered students.

Increase your fun on the river while reducing the amount of energy you expend having fun.

We will work on river running strategies and skills (river reading, eddy-catching, surfing). Paddlers should be comfortable on up to Class 2 water.
