Bylaws Revisions 2014

Message from your Bylaws Committee (Chair Dana Hoffman, Ken Dubel, Paul Ferguson, Mark Hoffman,  Grant Howard, Wendy Krause, Spencer Muse, Rick Steeves and Camille Warren):   Historically, the Bylaws have been revised 5 times since 2007, but each revision addressed a singular issue only.  Since its formation in July, this committee reviewed, examined, debated and updated each section of the Bylaws.  Every change that we are recommending is set forth below.  Some changes are minor, other changes are more significant.  In the interest of full disclosure, some of the changes recommended below are not unanimously supported by the committee members. Overall, the committee is confident that the changes will ensure the smooth operation of the Club, and keep us current with technology advances for communication.  We hope you agree.  Thank you for your consideration of the committee’s recommendations.

If you have questions, please refer to the forum created to discuss the specific change.  If you don't find your answer there, please post your question and a committee member will answer or give his/her perspective on the change.

To allow members to approve individual changes, instead of "all or none", individual changes have been separated out.  All options default to "I approve". If you approve all changes, you can scroll down to the bottom and select "Submit". Note that all changes include renumbering as appropriate. If necessary, any direct bylaws conflicts caused by inconsistent votes (such as two Articles then conflicting) will be resolved in a separate vote.

You must be logged into the website to vote. If you are logged in, the voting form will appear below from June 2 to June 13.
