2017 CCC Budget – Vote Requested

2017 June Adult Kayak Beginner / Novice / Intermediate Whitewater Clinic
The Adult Beginner, Novice, and Intermediate whitewater clinics will be held in the Bryson City, NC area, based out of Turkey Creek Campground (reservations are strongly recommended).
2017 Intro To Whitewater River SUP Clinic
Have you been curious about the weirdos on stand up paddleboards you’ve been seeing more and more frequently on your favorite whitewater rivers? Maybe you’ve thought … hmmm – I might be up for trying that – but just haven’t had the opportunity. Well – round up a paddleboard and join Dale Swanson for a short progression through some fundamental skills for paddling moving water from a free and unfettered standing position.
Since this clinic is designed to get you ready for class 1 and class 2 whitewater please expect and plan to get wet. After all, the companion discipline to whitewater SUP is whitewater swimming.
2017 Adult Kayak Beginner / Novice / Intermediate Clinic
The Adult Beginner, Novice, and Intermediate clinics will be held in the Bryson City, NC area, based out of Turkey Creek Campground (reservations are strongly recommended).
2017 Adult Canoe Beginner / Novice Clinic
Clinic participants will be grouped according to skill evaluation and most likely work on paddling skills at Fontana Lake, the Tuckaseegee, French Broad or Pigeon Rivers. Exact location to be determined based on water levels and skill levels.

2016 CCC Winter Holiday Party, Potluck, and Business Meeting
The Carolina Canoe Club is excited to welcome everyone to the annual Holiday Party (and business meeting) in Durham, NC from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. We'll share our dishes and then move into a discussion of club business at 2:00 pm.
Take the oportunity to meet the new club officers and find out what's happening for the next year!
The holiday party this year will be held at the home of Rick Steeves, 2535 Sevier St., Durham, NC
Fall Meeting and Officer Elections are now open!
The 2016 Fall Meeting is now open on 11.22.16. The meeting will be located in the Members Fall Meeting and Officer Elections section of the CCC website. There will be a discussion forum for members as well as an Officer Report section. The meeting will be open for 10 days to members for comments and questions.
The CCC Officer Election is now open and remain open through the Winter Meeting. Elections will be located in the Members Only section of the CCC website.
