September/October 'Paddler' now online in the 'members only' portion of the website

The Friends of the Lower Appomattox River will host its 4th Annual Battle or Paddle on September 17, 2011.

Let's celebrate the winding down of a fun paddling summer!

Wolf Creek Adventures is getting ready to work with at-risk youths
for another summer introducing them to whitewater canoeing.

We've applied for a $3,400 grant with the BoatUS Foundation to improve awareness with local boaters. To earn the grant, our application has to receive the most "votes" on BoatUS's Web site between May 12 and June 13.
