2018 Children’s Beginner/Novice Kayak Clinic
Kids Beginner / Novice clinic August18th-19th
Ages 8-12, who have their own boats and personal gear.
Day 1 : 1-4pm on pond at 3215 NC Hwy9, Black Mountain. We will work on wet exits, t-rescue, basic strokes, and fun games to practice these skills!
Day 2: noon-4pm, we will be on the lower green, working on having control going down the river. Eddie turns, ferries, fun.

Participants should have all of their own gear for use during the clinic. If you need to borrow gear, you can try asking on the club Facebook page and/or Yahoo list. Paddlers are a friendly sort any you may find people willing to loan gear, but it is not guaranteed. Instructors are not expected to provide gear.
