CCC runs on volunteers, would you consider volunteering…

Have you benefited from the Carolina Canoe Club?  Learned something new in a clinic, had fun at Week of Rivers, or met some fellow paddlers that have (or will!) become lifelong friends?  If so, have you considered giving back to the club and volunteering?

The Carolina Canoe Club runs on volunteers and we need your help and involvement to keep the club running strong.  How can I help?, you might ask.  Well…there are lots of ways.  

  • Would you consider keeping the roll session information up-to-date on the club website?

  • Would you consider running the trip leader incentive program?

    • Being a trip leader?

  • Would you consider putting together an issue of the Paddler?  

    • Or becoming the Paddler editor?

    • Or joining a sub-committee to determine the future of the Paddler?

  • Would you consider investigating the possibility of the CCC hosting the Reel Paddling Film Festival?

  • Would you consider instructing, proposing a new clinic, and/or safety boating?

It’s never too early to consider running for a club office or volunteering for the nominating committee.

Finally, if you have an idea for the club, we want to hear it!  Please let us know what you’re thinking.
