Help Needed! Great chance to help guide beginners– Cape Fear this Summer!

Excellent way to help train up our next generation of paddlers–

One of our own is training Boy Scouts to paddle– he needs some guide help! on the Cape Fear ( Lillington) this summer. Please call him to help if you possibly can!  Call or text Jim McNeill  (910)520-7732.

My Name is Jim McNeill. I am a new member to the club.  I am organizing a beginners whitewater experience on the Cape Fear River between Lillington and Erwin for the Cape Fear Boy scout Council Summer camp program.

I have been doing this trip for the past two years but it is difficult to handle 10 scouts and adults when I am the only experienced paddler in the group.  The whitewater community has always been safety first.  That is certainly my concern.

What I do not have are other experienced boaters.

Scout camp runs from mid June to mid July.  We will plan on paddling the Fridays June 21^st and 28^th and July 5^th and 12^th . I am reaching to The CCC to see if the club has members or resources to help aid in developing this program for the Scout Camp.
