An update from Trey Moore in Erwin, TN – please spend a few minutes and complete the AW form at the link below. The regulators seem to respond to public input

It has been a challenging and inspiring time as we look into what rebuilding and restoration of our communities will look like after the flooding. We have been lucky to be invited into several meetings this week about the economy that depends on the Nolichucky as a tourism draw. We are excited to explore and grow our economic opportunities and protect our valuable natural resources. It is with this in mind that I ask for two things.
reaching out to regulatory bodies asking them to revise their permitting and limit the amount of rock that can be removed from the river bed. This would align with regulations and permits that have been given by TN agencies. This is essential to protect the scenic and recreational values of the Nolichucky. Please fill out this quick and simple form and add your voice to this public comment campaign.
#2. Please share this link out within your circle of influence and help us add weight to these issues. Please do so via in person conversations, text, email and on social media.
We are facing many challenges on many fronts to recover and rebuild our lives and businesses. With your help we will have the support we need to continue to drive toward a brighter future. We appreciate each and every one of you as we navigate these difficult times.
All my best, Trey
