River Access

Club members have helped establish public river accesses on North Carolina rivers over the years by participating in hydro relicensing efforts, work projects and donations.

The new license for the Bynum Dam includes improvements to the portage trail and access at the base of the dam. Club members helped a State Parks ranger build the floating dock at Robeson Creek Canoe Launch on the Haw. A donation by the club helped create the new Guy Ford Road access on the Watauga.
