About the Carolina Paddler

Carolina Paddler is the successor to the venerable The Paddler.  The Paddler had a long history in the club, starting in 1970 as a newsletter mailed to CCC members.  The publication thrived for many years but the advent of new technologies and social media lessened the need for covering Club news and events.  Carolina Paddler is taking a different approach, concentrating on enduring stories of our members, history, adventures and the waters we paddle.  We’ll still include some favorites like Larry’s Tips and classic articles from Paddlers gone by.  The emphasis of Carolina Paddler will remain the rivers, paddlers and culture we all enjoy so much.

Carolina Paddler is available to anyone with an interest, Club members or not.  As we hope you will soon discover, for the very small price of membership, a whole world of opportunity and enjoyment opens up.
