Week of Rivers 2021 – Trip Event #1 – Tuck Cancer!

The first Saturday of Week of Rivers 2021 (July 3) has been designated as “Tuck Cancer!” Day to show support for and solidarity with our family and friends who have battled or are currently battling various forms of cancer. A number of our paddling friends are literally fighting for their lives as I type this.  The Tuckasegee River offers trips for all skill levels in Bryson City and Dillsboro, NC. If you’re paddling on Saturday, make it the Tuck. (The Nantahala Gorge will be pretty insane over the weekend. Save that for Tuesday and beyond.) Several folks have already volunteered to organize trips on the Tuckasegee. We hope to see 5 or 10 or more trips out there on Saturday. Make it a Tuck Cancer! Day.
