Using the CCC website to manage Trips!
To Create a Trip, got to Calendar > Add to Calendar

- The name of the trip should include the name of the river.
- Enter all relevant information:
- River
- River Difficulty
- Meeting Place & Time. NOTE: if you want to prevent people from just randomly showing up, you can indicate that you’ll send the trip specifics at a later time, and communicate with them directly. Give yourself enough time!
- Trip Requirements (Skill, Experience, etc.)
- Set “Skill Level” as appropriate.
- Set “Category” to “Trip”.
- Select “Enable registration for this event”. The default “ticket” is 8 available spaces. Edit.
- Set the Total spaces value (to match the ticket spaces)
- Select “Required”
- Close Ticket Editor.
- Set Total Spaces to match the ticket spaces.
- Set “Booking Cut-Off Date” Date and Time if you want registrations to close at some point prior to the trip. If you don’t set this, people can sign up justt before the trip when you don’t expect it.
- Disable “Enable Waitlist” (unless you want a waitlist).
- Set the “Selected Attendee Form” to “None” if you want to disable Skills Assessment questions.
- No other changes are necessary. Here be dragons.
- Select “Submit Event”.
You can view all of your events at My Account > My Events
If you select “Bookings” for an event, you can view all the attendees, and email them (“Send Emails”). You can also manually add people.You can also view all your bookings directly at : https://www.carolinacanoeclub.org/events-modify-reservations/
When someone registers, you should receive an email.
