Ditching not Bitching TR
Yes I am writing another Trip Report. Yes I will win another $50. Yes Doug Stager and I decided to donate our future winnings to Team River Runner RDU. Yes that is a bit presumptious. Yes we had a good time. Yes the weather was spectacular. Yes the ditch had a faint smell of chlorine.Yes the water was clear. Yes we both flipped and rolled. Yes one of us who only flipped once and carp rolled. Yes it would of made Lisa Birskovich proud. Yes I got beat around a bit in my superstar. Yes the splat wall will be back soon. Yes the comp channel seemed a bit steeper. Yes there is a cool wave right above shutdown to surf. Yes Biscuits and gravy is in. Yes we snuck food in. Yes beefaroni is delicious. Yes they have beer in the outfitters store. Yes there were babes. Yes there were dudes. Yes I widowshaded without my noseclip. Yes I am still alive today. Yes that was pretty careless of me. Yes Doug paddled well. Yes we saw Kevin Tuttle. Yes we missed out on Wilson Creek at -5. Yes we missed out on the Watauga on a primo day. Yes I am a park boater. Yes you missed us. Yes we had a fine time.
