Slice & play the Middle Ocoee

We had a small group on the Middle Ocoee on a hot WOR day slice, dice and play our way down the river.
New moves were tried, old ones improved on, and others tried only once (for obvious reasons).
Dave from Ohio, Scott (from PA?), Ashley and myself were in anything from play boat over full slice, half slice to creeker. Dave styled every squirty eddy line, Scott ran all rapids full on (and many only like this for the first time, as he had taken sneaks before, I believe), with a short swim at Broken Nose but no consequences thanks to quick boat recovery in the eddy below by Ashley. We watched mystery moves at Flipper executed by Wade Harrison and surfed with him in Hell’s Hole (as we always seemed to be close to another group w/ Jerry).
We chilled out over pizza and beer at Hoppy Trout Brewing Co. in Andrews, a great finish for a long and fun day. To be repeated…
